Domino’s Pizza has announced the promotion of Kerri Hayman to Chief Executive Officer for its Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) operations, effective immediately. Hayman becomes the first female CEO in the company’s history.

Hayman, who has been with Domino’s for over 36 years, takes over from Don Meij. Meij, who has served as both Group CEO and ANZ CEO for the past year, will now focus on international markets as Group CEO and Managing Director.

Starting her career at Domino’s as a pizza maker at age 15, Hayman has a long history with the company. She held various roles internationally before becoming ANZ Chief Operating Officer in October last year. Her experience includes being the Operations Director for Domino’s Pizza Group in the UK and owning 14 Domino’s stores in the US.

Hayman also highlighted the company’s ongoing focus on product quality and value. She is set to continue driving new product launches and maintaining high standards.

Domino’s Chairman Jack Cowin expressed confidence in Hayman’s leadership. He noted, “With Kerri’s appointment, we believe we have the right person to lead us into the future.”

Hayman’s accolades include International Supervisor of the Year and Domino’s Woman of the Year. She has also set international records for pizza sales and is involved in the Global Operations Council. Hayman recently launched the Women in Domino’s grant, supporting young female managers to become franchise partners, a program now being expanded to develop future leaders.
