ShowMax, Africa’s leading streaming platform, has shared the rationale behind its recent partnership with Domino’s Pizza, a fast-food franchise. The collaboration, which was announced at an event in Lagos, aims to offer enhanced value to Nigerian customers by combining entertainment with dining.
In a joint statement, both companies highlighted the benefits of their partnership, promising customers a unique experience that blends high-quality entertainment with their pizza orders.
“This strategic collaboration promises to reward them with a bingeing and feasting experience, offering exclusive access to top-notch entertainment alongside every order,” the statement read.
Arinola Shobande, Head of Marketing at ShowMax, emphasized the alignment of both brands in terms of content localization and customer satisfaction, which has been key to forging this partnership.
“I’m super excited that both brands share similar values: bringing happiness and satisfaction. If you go to any Domino’s Pizza outside the country, it is completely different from what we have here,” Shobande remarked.
Echoing this sentiment, Olumide Aniyikaiye, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Eat ‘N’ Go, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, noting the added value it brings to customers. “It is a marriage of two bodies with similar values,” Aniyikaiye said.
