The restaurant was established four decades ago by Jazz Farhan’s parents and his cousin’s parents. Growing up in the business, both families worked together, with the children starting to help out as teenagers.
Today, the two cousins co-own House of Pizza, making it a true family-run establishment.
“We work with our siblings, which keeps us close,” Farhan said. “We have a business relationship, but we’re fortunate to see our family regularly.”
Pizza remains the top choice for customers, with many calling it “the best pizza in town.” However, Farhan also recommends their steak and cheese sub sandwiches, famous chicken wings, and family specials.
“We offer dine-in, delivery, and carryout with great specials for the whole family,” Farhan explained. “You can get a pizza, wings, breadsticks, and a two-liter for around $50, and it feeds eight to ten people.”
With a full menu of pizza, pasta, sub sandwiches, and desserts, there’s something for everyone. The restaurant also provides catering for large events and celebrations.
House of Pizza regularly offers deals for back-to-school, game nights, or holidays, and their VIP program provides customers with coupons and discounts.
It’s all part of their effort to serve the loyal customers who have been coming for the past 40 years.
“We love seeing our regular customers every day,” Farhan said. “This is a family restaurant—the staff here is family, and our customers are family too.”
The restaurant has been in the same location at the Western Plaza Shopping Center, 1500 West Main Street, since 1984, now neighbors with Big Air Laurens.
Although the restaurant’s anniversary on August 8th has passed, Farhan doesn’t have any special celebrations planned.
“People ask if we’re doing anything special, but so far, nothing is in the works,” Farhan said. “We just want to keep doing what we’re doing and offering a great meal to our customers.”
