SANTA CRUZ, CA – Woodhouse Blending & Brewing is set to open a new satellite location on the Upper Westside near UC Santa Cruz. The upcoming pizza restaurant and taproom, which has yet to be named, will occupy a vacant spot in a small shopping center off High Street.
Owner Will Moxham is collaborating with chef Ryan Thompson from Pogonip Pizza Co., known for its wood-fired pizzas featuring both classic and seasonal toppings. The new venue will also serve coffee in the mornings.
The project received zoning approval last week but still requires additional approvals from the building and health departments before construction can begin. Moxham hopes the new location will open early next year.
For a preview, Woodhouse is hosting a Pogonip Pizza pop-up event at their brewery on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
