Halcyon, Forsyth County’s top mixed-use development, is welcoming Char Pizzeria to its Market Hall. The artisanal pizza spot will officially open on Friday, September 6, with special promotions and deals for local residents.
Char Pizzeria is located in the former Holmes Slice space. Owners Izzy and Charity Ramos, who also run The Original Hot Dog Factory at Halcyon, have revamped the space and the menu. The pizzeria will operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Izzy Ramos said, “We have refined our artisanal pizza skills with insights from Italian cuisine experts. We aim to offer an elevated pizza experience that appeals to all ages and tastes.”
The menu includes classic pizzas alongside new artisanal options such as smoked salmon, charcuterie board, and white truffle, available in 10-inch and 14-inch sizes. All pizzas are made with a new sauce and thin-crust, Neapolitan-style dough, baked in a traditional brick oven. Char Pizzeria will also offer frozen alcoholic drinks, including frosé and a blue raspberry slush with vodka, as well as sandwich options.
Phil Mays, principal of RocaPoint Partners, commented, “We are excited to introduce Char Pizzeria to Halcyon. Their high-quality, made-to-order pizzas will enhance our diverse food offerings and provide great options for families and visitors.”
