Co-founded by Steven Che and Jan Natividad, this new pizzeria aims to offer a unique experience by combining the familiarity of traditional pizza with gourmet-level quality.
Steven Che, a Vancouver native with experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants and running a successful sourdough bakery in Oslo, brings his culinary expertise to the table. Every pizza at Just Pizza features a 12-inch sourdough crust, reflecting his background in artisanal bread-making. His business partner, Jan Natividad, a tech product marketer, ensures top-notch customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.
The menu offers a variety of options, from timeless favorites like the classic margherita to more adventurous creations like the Filipino Breakfast pizza, which is topped with longganisa, a sunny-side-up egg, and jalapenos. For those seeking something different, the Cumin Lamb and Manak-ish pies promise a global culinary experience.
Currently in its soft-opening phase, Just Pizza is encouraging customers to explore its evolving menu as they fine-tune dishes and introduce new options.
Just Pizza is located at 1629 Kingsway and operates Tuesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
