The much-anticipated Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party will take place on Thursday, September 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., promising an evening of delicious food and community spirit.
The event, organized by the Seneca County Young Professionals (SCYP), is part of the ongoing Third Thursday series and will be held in Downtown Tiffin’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), located at City Lots 5 and 7 on Washington Street.
Local businesses will serve up a variety of pizza-inspired dishes, including offerings from popular spots like Clover Club, Domino’s Pizza, The Empire, Fort Ball Pizza Palace, FroZone Tiffin, Golda’s YUMobile, GW’s Fine Food & Spirits, Heavenly Pizza, Jac & Do’s, Napoli Pizza, Reino’s Pizza & Pasta, Simply Susan’s, The Bagel Buggy, and The VC Tiffin Cameo.
Tickets for the event are $2 and can be bought ahead of time at Pan Yan Bookstore, Ralph’s Joy of Living, Simply Susan’s, and The Renaissance of Tiffin. Tickets will also be available at City Lots 5 and 7 on the night of the event, with cash payments accepted. Half of the ticket sales will go to Seneca Mentoring Youth Links (SMYL), a nonprofit organization that provides mentorship to local youth aged 6 to 17.
“The Downtown Pizza Party is a great way to bring our community together,” said Mayor Lee Wilkinson. “Enjoying good food while supporting a cause like SMYL makes it even more meaningful.”
In addition to pizza, attendees can grab a drink from a vendor within the DORA, contributing to the lively downtown atmosphere.
The Third Thursday events are sponsored by Reineke Family Dealerships, Destination Seneca County, and UIS Insurance and Investments.
