Mojitos Rum Bar and Pizzeria is set to open a new location in Malvern Link on Saturday, September 21. The popular eatery, known for its artisan pizzas and mojitos, will operate from the kitchen of the Express Inn.
The new Malvern Link venue will initially serve as a takeaway, open every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 10pm until the New Year. Afterward, the restaurant may consider expanding its hours. The opening has also created four new jobs in the area.
Mojitos Rum Bar and Pizzeria has been established in Upton-Upon-Severn for about five years, offering a menu with around 20 different types of pizzas. The Malvern Link location will feature a slightly reduced pizza menu but will introduce new side dishes, including onion rings, loaded fries, garlic bread, and homemade desserts.
Owner Kyle Hassall noted that about half of the deliveries from the Upton location come from Malvern, despite their delivery range extending only to Great Malvern. Hassall expressed confidence in the success of the new Malvern Link venture.
“We have been planning this for a while, and it’s great to see it finally opening,” Hassall told the Gazette. “The reaction from Malvern Link has been positive, with many of our Great Malvern customers excited about the new location. We are also eager to introduce our new menu items.”
The Malvern Link venue will feature Mojitos’ popular ‘Revelation’ pizza, topped with beef brisket, nduja, red onion, smoked cheese, and chili jam. The pizzeria will continue to offer a variety of mojitos, with flavors ranging from blueberry and passionfruit to raspberry. The blueberry and coconut mojitos are particularly popular at the Upton location, and Hassall is curious to see if they remain favorites in Malvern Link.
Mojitos Pizzeria in Upton-Upon-Severn currently holds a five-star rating on TripAdvisor and is available for delivery through Just Eat.
