Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Cranston has officially closed its doors.

A sign posted on the restaurant’s front door announced the permanent closure. This was the only Anthony’s location in Rhode Island.

The reason for the closure has not been disclosed.

A spokesperson from Garden City Center, where the restaurant was located, issued a statement to NBC 10.

“Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza has been a fixture at Garden City Center for seven years. We have valued their partnership and are looking forward to welcoming new businesses to our community soon,” the spokesperson said.
