Roots Pizza is bringing its renowned Quad City-style pizza to Deerfield, Glenview, Northbrook, and Lincolnshire on Friday, September 20.
This local favorite will offer a variety of flavorful pizzas, unique chef collaborations, and fresh salads. Options cater to both vegetarians and meat lovers, with the Vegan Garden pizza for plant-based diets and the house-seasoned Crumbled Sausage for meat enthusiasts. Most pizzas are also available gluten-free.
Specialty pizzas include the “Big Ragu,” created in collaboration with Monteverde “Top Chef” finalist Sarah Grueneberg. This pizza features tomato-braised pork shoulder, meatballs, sausage, Calabrian peppers, stracchino, mozzarella, and pesto. Another highlight is the Lillie’s Q collaboration, offering sweet pulled pork smoked over peach wood, hot smoky BBQ, mozzarella, Carolina Dirt BBQ Rub, and slaw. Don’t forget to try the West Town Bakery cake pops for dessert.
To enjoy this pizza, be sure to place your order by noon on Friday. Deliveries will be made between 3:30pm and 5:30pm.
