Ireland’s first artisan pizza vending machine has officially opened in Dublin. The Bosca Pizza machine is located at a Texaco station in Newcastle and on Abbey Street in the city center. This 24-hour kiosk aims to serve customers at various locations, including service stations, shopping centers, college campuses, office buildings, hospitals, and small towns without fast food options.
The idea for Bosca Pizza began when brothers Franck and Marc visited France and found a unique, round-the-clock artisan pizza vending machine. They recognized the potential for this concept in Ireland, where Franck was living.
With their experience in the restaurant and food industries, the brothers were eager to introduce this innovative idea to Ireland. They opened their first location in Naas in 2022, quickly gaining popularity and expanding the brand.
Pizzas are handcrafted in a high-quality kitchen using premium ingredients before being delivered to the vending machines. To ensure freshness, a cold chain process keeps the pizzas at the right temperature until they are ordered.
The machine’s refrigerator maintains a temperature of 3°C. When an order is placed, the pizza is transferred to the oven, where it is cooked at high temperatures with specific settings for each type of pizza.
