A popular pizza shop in Toronto, Pizzeria Badiali, is set to open a second location in the city.
While debates about the best pizza in Toronto are common, Pizzeria Badiali stands out as a favorite among locals. The constant crowd outside the original location on Dovercourt Street proves its popularity.
Founded by three talented Toronto chefs who previously worked together at Bar Isabel, Pizzeria Badiali has gained a dedicated following. Many food enthusiasts, including blogTO, have ranked it as the top pizzeria in the city.
However, one challenge for customers is the long wait times. Despite the delicious aroma of freshly baked pizzas, many patrons find the lines frustrating.
To address this issue, Badiali is expanding with a new location in the Annex. Westbank Corp, the company behind the Mirvish Village development, has confirmed that Pizzeria Badiali will be part of the new residential and retail area on the former Honest Ed’s site.
The new location will join other popular eateries, including Blackbird Bakery and Sweetie Pie, as well as the Michelin-recommended Ask for Luigi restaurant from Vancouver.
Details about the new Pizzeria Badiali location remain limited, but fans are eager to learn more. Until then, pizza lovers can visit the original spot at 181 Dovercourt for a taste of their favorite pies.
