Domino’s is reviving its Emergency Pizza promotion and is partnering with Fortnite to offer players a unique experience within the game.
Fortnite, known for its numerous collaborations with popular culture, including TV shows, celebrities, and movies, will now feature Domino’s. The fast-food chain is recognized for its wide variety of pizzas.
The Emergency Pizza program allows players to earn a “free” medium two-topping pizza for their gaming needs. This promotion runs from October 8, 2024, to January 19, 2025. To participate, customers must place a carryout order of at least $7.99. After placing the order, a Domino’s Emergency Pizza will appear in their “My Deals & Rewards” section of the Domino’s Rewards account.
In addition to the real-life offer, Fortnite players can also access the Emergency Pizza in-game through a new mode called The Glitch. This mode launches on October 14, 2024, as part of Domino’s gaming debut, created in partnership with Amazon and Twitch.
The Glitch is separate from the Battle Royale mode and features a “Red vs. Blue” map where players compete to control a Domino’s storefront. Players can find the Emergency Pizza as a “secret weapon” by breaking glass within the game. Consuming this pizza will restore their health.
Domino’s will also collaborate with gaming influencers to host live streams, showcasing the “brand experience” within The Glitch.
