A restaurant in central Pennsylvania has expanded its offerings by adding wine, beer, and cocktails to its Italian menu. Ferrante’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant, located at 205 Pauline Drive in York Township, recently obtained a limited-winery liquor license.
Owner Carmelo Ferrante, who hails from Sicily, has experience running restaurants, including the Wood Fire Italian Grill in York County. Earlier this year, he and his wife sold Alba Cafe, located at 4902 Louise Drive in the Rossmoyne Business Center in Lower Allen Township, and transferred the liquor license from that establishment. The Ferrantes also produce their own line of wine.
In addition to serving Pennsylvania wines, beers, and spirits, Ferrante’s Pizza has introduced wood-fired pizzas to its menu. The restaurant also features traditional pizzas made with homemade sauces and high-quality mozzarella. Other menu items include sandwiches, wings, salads, and made-from-scratch pasta dishes such as fettuccine, gemelli, and spaghetti.
Ferrante’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is closed on Mondays.
