Voters in Texas have a tasty incentive to hit the polls this election season. Home Slice Pizza, a well-known chain with locations in Austin and Houston, is giving away free pizza slices to anyone who shows their “I Voted” sticker.
From now until Election Day on November 5, residents who visit any Home Slice Pizza location in Austin or Houston can exchange their voting sticker for a complimentary slice of pizza. The offer is available at all store locations in these cities.
Home Slice Pizza, famous for its Texas take on New York-style pizza, launched this campaign on October 21, the start of early voting in Texas. The initiative encourages civic engagement while treating voters to a free meal.
The pizza chain was founded by husband-and-wife team Jen and Joseph Strickland, along with their partner Terri Hannifin. Home Slice Pizza first opened its doors on South Congress Avenue in Austin back in 2005. It later expanded its operations, opening More Home Slice, a takeout and slice-focused spot, across the street in 2010. Today, the chain operates three locations in Austin and one in Houston.
The Houston location, in the Midtown neighborhood, opened in December 2022, adding to Home Slice’s reputation as a beloved pizza destination in Texas.
Customers can enjoy a variety of pizza styles, with by-the-slice options like cheese, pepperoni, Margherita, vegan, and Sicilian pepperoni.
