Halloween is a busy time for pizza shops, as many families choose pizza for dinner after a night of trick-or-treating. Local pizzerias are preparing for the expected surge in orders.
Steve Cocca from Cocca’s Pizza says Halloween ranks among their three busiest days of the year, along with Super Bowl Sunday and Black Friday.
To prepare, the team reviews notes from the previous year to anticipate when the rush will occur.
“We do a lot of preparing for Halloween. It’s a big day for us,” Cocca said. “We have extra staff coming in. Preparation actually starts the day before as we get ready for all the orders.”
Cocca’s Pizza is also offering three Halloween specials, which are available on their website.
