Brenz Pizza Co. is set to open a new restaurant in early 2025 at 5063 N High St, the former site of Clean Eatz. The new location will cover approximately 2,200 square feet and provide seating for about 20 to 25 guests.
According to a recently filed permit, the buildout will involve reconfiguring the kitchen for pizza preparation and making several other modifications to the space. Brenen Morse, co-owner of Brenz Pizza, shared details about the new venture.
The team aims for a January 1 opening, but Morse acknowledged this timeline is optimistic. He noted that mid-January is more realistic, considering the permitting process and other launch activities.
Brenz Pizza currently operates locations in Dublin, New Albany, and on Lennox Town Lane in Columbus. The company also has branches in Knoxville, Tennessee, and in Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Morse emphasized the goal of increasing brand awareness for their pizza concept. The menu features specialty pizzas such as barbecue chicken, bruschetta, and chicken bacon ranch. Customers can also build their own pizzas with a variety of toppings. Other offerings include breadsticks, wings, salads, and desserts, including cookies and the house specialty, CinnaBrenz—bite-sized dough pieces tossed in cinnamon and sugar.
Looking to the future, Brenz Pizza Co. aims to open one to two new locations each year in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina while maintaining family ownership.
