Starting next week, Old Scratch Pizza will open its doors on Mondays.
Owner Eric Soller announced the change, saying, “We’ve listened to our guests who’ve been asking for more opportunities to enjoy Old Scratch. Opening on Mondays gives our guests a new way to kick off their week and makes Old Scratch a better fit as we explore expanding into other markets.”
To celebrate the new Monday hours, the restaurant is offering two promotions throughout November:
Half-off Margherita Pizzas, a classic Neapolitan pizza topped with fresh mozzarella, crushed San Marzano tomatoes, and fresh basil.
$1 off OSPils Beer, the pizza shop’s house pilsner brewed locally by Warped Wing.
Old Scratch is known for its Midwesternly Neapolitan pizzas, fresh salads, wood-fired vegetables, and a wide selection of regional craft beers. For first-time visitors, Soller recommends the Angry Beekeeper pizza, which features tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, spicy salami, house-made hot honey, and olive oil.
All pizzas at Old Scratch are wood-fired, made with hand-stretched dough and high-quality ingredients.
Soller opened the first Old Scratch location in 2016 at 812 S. Patterson Boulevard in Dayton. A second location followed in 2019 at 440 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Centerville, and a third opened in Beavercreek at 2450 Dayton Xenia Road. In January 2024, the fourth location opened in Troy at 19 E. Race St.
Old Scratch Pizza is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
