Houchin Blood Bank and Tony’s Pizza are teaming up to encourage blood donations this November by offering a free large, one-topping pizza.
From November 1 to November 30, blood donors who participate in the “Give a Pint, Get Pizza” campaign will receive a voucher for a free large, one-topping pizza at any Tony’s Pizza location in Kern County, while supplies last.
“Each pint of blood donated can save up to three lives, and as we approach the holiday season, the need for donations is critical,” said Shane Hubbard, Marketing and Communications Manager at Houchin Blood Bank.
To donate, individuals must be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be at least 16 years old with parental consent. A photo ID with a birth date is required.
