Riko’s Pizza, known for its hot-oil, thin-crust, “tavern-style” pizzas, is inviting the community to a preview festival this Saturday ahead of the opening of its new Westport location later this month.
The free event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Luciano Park, located at the intersection of Charles and Franklin streets, across from the new Riko’s site at 60 Charles St.
Riko’s will offer free cheese pizza at the event, along with family-friendly activities including a bouncy house, face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon twisting, and a photo booth, according to the announcement.
The new Riko’s Pizza, set to open on Tuesday, Nov. 19, occupies the former location of Arrow restaurant and Mystic Market. Riko’s also operates locations in Norwalk, Fairfield, Darien, and Stamford, along with additional spots in New York, Massachusetts, and Florida.
