If you’re in a VIP box at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, skip the box service and head to the nearest concession stand. There, a full pepperoni pizza costs $40—much less than the $300 price tag in a VIP setting.
Las Vegas sports bettor Bill “Krackman” Krackomberger shared this costly experience on Twitter after a friend ordered food while watching the UNLV Rebels defeat the San Diego State Aztecs, 41-20. The next day, Krackomberger tweeted about the steep charges his friend encountered for ordering to the VIP box.
“Never realized what it was going to cost for this slop,” Krackomberger captioned photos of the pizza, wings, and the detailed receipt. “They treat the luxury suite guests like they are in a club with bottle service.”
The itemized receipt, from server Krystal H., listed the following charges:
- Pepperoni Pizza: $300 (amounting to $50 per slice after tax and fees)
- Chicken Tenders: $190
- Administrative Charge: $112
- Sales Tax: $50.48
And That’s Before a Tip
The receipt clarified that the 23% administrative charge “is not a tip or gratuity and is not distributed to service employees,” meaning guests are still expected to tip separately.
